Breaking In Your Brand New Tyres

New tyres have release agents and a glossy surface from moulding. A gentle break-in helps scuff the tread evenly and beds the tyre to the rim.

First hundred kilometres

Avoid hard cornering, maximum braking, and aggressive launches. Keep speeds moderate and steer smoothly.

Why it matters

Even contact patch wear from day one extends life and preserves wet grip symmetry.

Check pressures after fitting

Recheck cold pressures next morning — some seating can shift slightly.
