Guide To Cleaning Your Tyres In Five Easy Steps
Clean tyres and wheels protect finish, reveal damage early, and stop brake dust etching rims.
1. Rinse loose dirt
Cool wheels first; blast grit away so you do not scratch paint.
2. Use pH-safe cleaner
Avoid harsh acids on polished alloys; follow product instructions.
3. Agitate spokes and barrels
Brushes reach behind spokes where corrosion starts.
4. Scrub sidewalls gently
Remove brown oxidation without gouging lettering.
5. Dry fully
Microfibre prevents water spots; apply tyre dressing sparingly — slick sidewalls are cosmetic only.
