How to Read Your Tyre Placard Sticker

The placard lists tyre sizes, cold pressures, seating capacity, and sometimes speed ratings. It is the manufacturer’s binding recommendation for that vehicle’s weight distribution.

Where to find it

Driver door jamb, fuel flap, or glovebox on many imports.

Front and rear differences

Performance cars and vans may split pressures — respect both.

Aftermarket wheels

If sizes change, pressures may need pro guidance even if placard is outdated.
